Student Accident Insurance
The Kids Plus Accident Insurance program is moving online in September and will no longer issue paper brochures for distribution to students. Schools can now access information online at kidsplus.ca/resources to use on their websites, in newsletters and social media to inform parents of the availability of the program, and parents will be able to purchase coverage through the main website at kidsplus.ca.
Student accident insurance is especially valuable for families who do not have extended health or dental plans, or whose plans are limited. Dental damage and prolonged physiotherapy can be extremely expensive, even for those families with good coverage.
